Personal Wild Retreat in Swansea

The idea is to get yourself away from the day-to-day grind for a period and to re-connect with yourself and life itself (like nature and stuff). There are plenty of places throughout wales

Personal Retreat Itinerary

Below is an example of a personal retreat. Find yourself some wilderness with a bit of water, pitch up the night before. Cook a nice meal, go to sleep and set an alarm for 6am.

Basic principles:-

  • All tech is off and away until the following morning
  • The only indicator of time should be your environment. Be guided partly by the natural cues (sunlight etc.) and also partly by how you feel. If you’re hungry, eat. If you’re tired, rest etc.
  • The constants should be food and yoga. Take your time over these and don’t worry if you run out of time.
  • If you don’t feel like doing something on the list, just turn up and slowly make a start. If you cant get past the resistance let it go – it wasn’t the right activity for you right now.
  • Always bear in mind this is a reset, to release your mind from the crazy. Don’t focus on completing each task perfectly – focus instead on everything your feeling whilst carrying out the task. The idea is to simply observe your reaction to the tasks and nothing more.
